I have a feeling that Thursday nights could be an additional factor as to why we are seeing more competitors.
Will not be making it this Thursday evening, but hoping to be race ready by the next Stock TT and Club Stock race meetings.
Enjoy the racing!

Yeah, also hoping that Thursday's are more popular for the folks!
Looking forward to this Thursday.....done some gearing work on my GT car....need to get more speed.....
Also busy setting up a new car for Club Stock....just need to get pinion sorted and I can give it a first run!

GT would be Dynamite 20T brushed motors?
Would you be gearing your GT car to motor temp or to track layout? I haven't had any experience with the Dynamite 20T brushed motor.
The Dynamite 20T motors, do they have more torque or higher RPM than the Johnson/Mabuchi 2-slot?
PS: One can bet, Neville pulls in with his TT-01 from Stock TT, throws in a Dynamite 20T brushed motor with same 25/55 gearing and takes it by 2 laps... and not a single mistake?

U giving away my game plan bud....

20t motor feels much faster with more torque. Yes I do run in on 25/55 and the lap times are faster if u compare Johnson and 20t in a tt01 with same gearing.

In order to challenge my competitor for that number one spot, I must think like my competitor... just joking!
Hmmm... so if I get a Dynamite 20T I'll be able to run in GT with my TT-01 as well -- sounds cost effective to me.
I should be picking up the Team Powers tires this weekend and will inquire about the cost of the Dynamite motor.
From now on, I'll shut up about you being the club champ all the time.
I'm sure you are getting sick and tired of hearing it!
Cheers bud.

Yeah it is very cost effective and tt01 holds it's own at trccc and is very competitive on our track.

Dynamite motor is R190 and u get discount being a member. Definitly the most cost effective way to not only participate, but be competitive in that class.

Definitely feel the same way about the TT-01 and looking forward to see how well she handles. Strongly feel that my TT-01 purchase was a wise one.
I did splash out a bit on various optional parts, but purely for enjoyment and having nothing to do with trying to be competitive. Thoroughly enjoy all aspects of the world of R/C including meeting people such as you guys.

Thank you for updating me on the pricing of the motor. I may consider it as an option for GT.
Keeping the hobby at a low cost adds to the enjoyment for sure. I'm at my three chassis/car limit which I am glad for. My Team Associated TC4 still needs decent shocks (as the set that came standard leak constantly). Lastly a 21.5t brushless motor and I should be set for Club Stock.
Having equal horsepower does level the playing field to some extent, I do agree!
